Hi everyone. I just thought I'd pass along a link below where you can get ringtones, for free, from songs on The Makings of This House. I can't really say that this is a completely risk-free endeavor, so be sure to read the terms and whatnot. Have a great new year.

Merry Christmas!

Haven't heard from us in a bit, I know, but we'll be back kickin' around soon. We've got some nice things on our plate this holiday season, including those tee shirts we mentioned before, new show dates in the works(both far and wide), as well as a little something about a movie soundtrack.

We miss you and hope the feelings mutual!

Jozart Studios. Four Years.

First off, thanks to everyone who made it out to the show at Jozart Studios in Cal on Friday. It was a great way to celebrate four whole years passing since the inception of the Orogenesis project, which developed into Animanatomy. And what a great art space Jozart's is! It really is fantastic that California has a secret little place like this.

Secondly, thanks to Son of The Sun drove in from Illinois for one last stop on their tour before returning home to Buffalo, NY. Great set, boys. See you in the future.

Nov 6 2009 >123 Pleasant St .Morgantown, WV

I overheard Michael from One Hundred Hurricanes telling Jess from Lightfoot that this place was probably the best place to play in West Virginia. I was skeptical at first, but after a night like that, I have to say I believe it. The crowd was gracious, the crew was great, there were two bars on both sides of the venue, great songs coming from the bar Jukebox while we were setting up. Two thumbs up.

Anyways, One Hundred Hurricanes (who closed out the night) were great to finally see. They have a great style that reminded me of The Strokes, even hints of The Arctic Monkeys.

Lightfoot was pretty darn good too. The two piece came all the way from DC. With them, I sensed hints of June Carter and Cash, and actually sounded a bit like She And Him.

Anyways, Here was our set list:

I'm A Sinner
The Human Spirit
Pennsylvania
Fruit
Bear Hands
The Coffin Maker's Son
The Life of a Biological Organism
I'll Sing in the Mourning
Self Portrait/Amazing Grace

The Slant's FIRST TRIP TO MORGANTOWN, WV

Yes, thats right, we're going to be playing a show in at WVU, Friday, Novemeber 6th at 123 Pleasant Street. It'll be our first time playing in the area and we can't wait. We'll be playing some cuts from The Makings, and Old North, we may even dive deeper into our past and pull something from Animanatomy.

We'll be sharing the stage with Morgantown's own One Hundred Hurricanes. The show is 18 and up. Music will start at 9:30.

There's rumors of another band hopping on the bill - but we'll see

Tell your friends kids,
