Finding Meaning Project

This is an art show that will feature some of my work, as well as work from fellow students, recent graduates, and one faculty member from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh.

For the better part of 2009, once a week, we met to discuss and analyze the works of various visual artists in an effort to find different avenues to find "meaning." This art show is the culmination of said meetings.

So come on out. enjoy some art, music, drinks, and some "cool cats from AIP"

I/we would love to see you there

Handmade Tees

So this is what the tees that Andy Scott (from the "A PLACE FOR ALL" blog) and I made a couple months ago.  We built this awesome contraption for the screen to hinge on for easy transfer of tee shirts on and off of the printing surface. (Sorry, no photos) Being a maiden voyage for the both of us as far as screen printing goes, we were unsure how small the line work could be before it lost readability when printed, making it patchy and what not.  To our surprise, they turned out great.  We printed them on dark chocolate, 50/50 cotton/polyester tees, using a cream color ink.

We're looking into setting up an online store with etsy.com or bigcartel.com in the near future, once we decide which would be better for us to
work with.

Until then, shirts, posters, stickers, and disks will be available at our shows.  All of our disks can be purchased online at cdbaby.com.
